Dear Amanda,

As we enjoy a new spring season, we have much to celebrate. Five years ago, the Reny and Epstein families established the Gillian Reny Stepping Strong Fund to honor the medical caregivers who saved Gillian’s life and limbs following the 2013 Boston Marathon bombings. Through your inspired partnership and support, the fund has evolved to become a thriving, multidisciplinary center that is truly transforming care for patients who endure traumatic injuries.

Last week, 143 Stepping Strong runners ran 26.2 miles together in support of this critical work. You can help us celebrate our five-year milestone with a gift of at least $26.20—one dollar for every mile our team members covered in the Boston Marathon. With your support, we can transform the future of trauma research and care for generations to come.

With gratitude,

Ali Salim, MD, and Mitchel B. Harris, MD
